They have mixed race and black skin. There beautiful skin needed lots of moisture and ways to lock it in. Their hair ranged from 3a to 4c curls. Tight and frzzy and bouncy and loose. Most products to define curls and help with braiding where full of chemicals so we made our own. We made creams for each of them, to suit and celebrate their amazing differences. After friends started using it on themselves and their children we found all the creams where to heavy for the face. Whatever type of skin you have the face needs something more delicate. The face cream was tested over several years on all shades of skin.
